Featuring: Williamson County Mayor Rogers Anderson
As county mayor, Anderson takes a leadership role in local government and is responsible for fiscal management and other executive functions. He has served as chief executive officer of Williamson County since 2002, taking the title of county mayor after serving as county executive. Elected by popular vote every four years, the county mayor is allowed by the Tennessee Constitution to serve unlimited terms.
Anderson will begin his fourth term as county mayor this fall after running unopposed in this year's election. He served as county commissioner from 1986 to 2002, holding the offices of chairman and vice-chairman.
