Kellye Murphy is a tourism professional with more than 18 years experience in the hospitality industry. She serves as the Senior Director of Marketing for the Williamson County Convention & Visitors Bureau (WCCVB), which markets Franklin and the unique communities of Williamson County to the world. Kellye leads the Bureau’s marketing team in communications, social media, PR, advertising and marketing strategy. She received her Professional in Destination Management designation from Destination Marketing Association International. Kellye served on the board for Sister Cities of Franklin and Williamson County, the Tennessee Senior Olympics, the Williamson County Hotel & Lodging Association and served as a member of the Greater Nashville Hotel & Lodging Association. Kellye is a past recipient of the Tennessee Chapter of MPI’s President’s Award. She most recently founded the 360° Women in Marketing group to foster creativity, collaboration and inspiration for professional women in marketing. Kellye is an avid photographer, including shooting for the CVB’s photo gallery in her early years with the Bureau. She and her husband Blake have three children and reside in the Grassland community.

Jamie R. Cox graduated from Indiana University Bloomington with degrees in Arts Management and Studio Art. Jamie has an extensive graphic design background and before entering the tourism space, lead social media strategy for creative agencies in Bloomington, Indiana and Franklin, Tennessee. Her clients ranged from Indiana University Athletics (Go Hoosiers!) to the Indiana Uplands Wine Trail. As Marketing Coordinator at Visit Franklin, Jamie heads up creative efforts and works closely with Birdsong Creative to maintain the integrity of the Visit Franklin brand. She curates the Visit Franklin Instagram that currently has over 22k followers and has grown approximately 350% in the past year. You may recognize her as the face of Visit Franklin’s annual Pilgrimage Preview Videos. When she’s not at the office, she’s working on her home in East Nashville, drawing her lunch in her sketchbook, and making fun gifs to share on her website. She and her husband are the parents of a rescued Miniature Schnauzer named Georgia. You can find her on Instagram at @jmercox.

Matthew Maxey is the Public Relations Coordinator at the Williamson County Convention & Visitors Bureau where he works with media from across the globe to spread the message about Franklin as a travel destination. Prior to joining the CVB team, Maxey began his PR career as the Assistant Sports Information Director at the University of Tennessee at Martin handling media relations for the athletic department and its teams. Maxey also had his own Public Relations consulting business, working with non-profits, political candidates at the local, state and federal level, and serving as a lead writer and photographer for the magazine Sports & Entertainment Nashville. These days, when not pitching stories about Franklin, Maxey can also be found on the sidelines of college and professional sporting events around the Southeast as a photographer.
