Angie Clark started her career in the 70's as a top sales performer at IBM. What Angie really loved was working as a marketing representative and trainer for Communispond, where she trained managers and CEOs in presentation skills, writing skills, radio and t.v. appearances and running annual meetings.
She entered the Investment business in the early 80's raising money for limited partnerships for Heritage Cable and then became an Assistant Regional Director at EF Hutton. In 1991 she joined Oppenheimer Capital as National Sales Manager and became a Managing Director for the firm, which was acquired by Pimco and then Allianz. Angie grew the firm's assets from $500-million to $9-billion.
Angie was on the original Board of the Money Management Institute. She has been a featured speaker at the national sales meetings of most of the major brokerage firms, as well as at industry conferences. In 2007, Angie was given the Pioneer Award by the Money Management Institute.
She has worked with Smith Barney, Prudential, General Motors, Bendix, Paine Webber, Merrill Lynch, Delaware Investments, Old Dominion University, Lockwood, Wasatch Advisors, Money Management Institute, APIC, Association of Investment Management Sales Executives, Concord Asset Management, Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity, Site Acquisitions, Inc., Lightstone, First Allied Securities, Lake Forest Graduate School of Management and AXA Equitable.
